My Story

From Chaos to Calm

For much of my life, I lived in survival mode, feeling disconnected from myself, others, and overwhelmed by my trauma history which includes a multitude of physical, emotional/mental and sexual abuse. Living with complex PTSD made it difficult to slow down and find peace.

Then I began exploring mindful living, creative writing, and art as healing tools. These practices became my anchors and helped me move toward a life rooted in self-awareness and intentional choices.

I created this blog as a space to share what I’ve learned about healing, and how mindfulness, and creativity play a significant role in that process, so you can discover your own path to peace. If you’ve ever felt stuck, anxious, or disconnected, know that you’re not alone—and that small steps can lead to big changes.

My hope is that you will find this space as a source of inspiration wherever you are along your own journey, and in case no one has told you today, recently or ever- you matter. Your story matters, and your voice matters. Don’t ever let anyone try to convince you otherwise.

So, grab your favorite drink and maybe a pet or two, and stay for a while. You are welcome to stay as long as you like.
